Saints Contracting is a commercial electrical contractor working across Carlisle, Cumbria and the North West. Our electrical team designs and installs safe, efficient and compliant systems, from the incoming supply and power distribution through to lighting, fire alarms, security, data and building controls. Every installation is tested, inspected and certified before handover.

We deliver on new build and refurbishment projects for public sector, commercial, leisure, heritage and residential clients throughout the county, from Carlisle and Penrith down to Kendal, Barrow-in-Furness and the west coast towns. Small planned upgrades sit alongside full electrical packages on larger schemes, and both are run to the same standards.

LED lighting replacement, distribution board and metering upgrades, emergency lighting, and the rewiring of tired public buildings make up a large share of what we do. Increasingly we are also installing EV charging infrastructure and building controls as clients across Cumbria modernise their estates and prepare for electrified heat and transport.

Electrical work is coordinated with our mechanical and public health teams so that a single M&E contractor is accountable for the whole building service. Where a project involves heat pumps, ventilation or BMS controls, the electrical design is developed alongside the mechanical design rather than after it, which avoids the late clashes and load surprises that hold projects up.

We are a NAPIT approved contractor, hold CHAS Elite, SafeContractor and SMAS Worksafe SSIP accreditation, and work under UKAS accredited ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 27001 management systems. Every installation is handed over with the test certification and O&M information the client's estates team needs.
